Conference Information
The 2008
Austin Conference will be held February 18 - 20, at The
Driskill Hotel in the center of Austin's business
district!
[Optional
all-day/half-day training commences on Monday, February 18,
offering 4 different half day breakouts and a full day class on iMIS
101. Tuesday, February 19, starts with the Opening and General
Sessions, followed by breakout sessions, lunch, and more breakout
sessions. Tuesday evening will be topped off with the
NiUG Networking
event at 6:30 PM. Concurrent breakout sessions
will be held on Wednesday, February 20, closing with
a General Session. The conference will conclude at 12:00 pm on
Wednesday.]
Monday Full day and Half day
Training
For those of you attending the full day
and half day training classes on Monday, February 18, 2008, these
classes are show & tell classes and bringing a laptop will enhance
your learning experience; however, it is not a
requirement. NOTE: Training
classes and the user's conference portion of the conference will
all be taught using iMIS 10.6 with discussion on iMIS 15 differences
where needed.
Requirements for each class if bringing a
laptop are as follows:
iMIS 101 - local copy of iMIS SQL or MSDE and a copy of a
demo database.
1/2 Day - iMIS Financials - local copy of iMIS SQL
or MSDE and a copy of a demo database. You will need the A/R
Cash license key.
1/2 Day - Database Maintenance - local copy of iMIS SQL or
MSDE and a copy of a demo database.
1/2 Day - Dues - All You Need to Know - local copy of iMIS SQL
or MSDE and a copy of a demo database. Should have license
keys for the A/R Cash and Billing modules.
1/2 Day - Steps of Upgrading to iMIS 15 - THIS IS A DEMO AND
INFORMATIONAL CLASS - Laptops are not needed.
Wireless internet access
will be provided on Monday, February 18th for those attending half day
and full day training!
Housing
For those of you staying at the
Driskill Hotel - Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is at
12:00 pm.
Dress
Code
Dress attire for the conference is
business or business casual, this includes evening events.
Additional
Notes
Breakfast, breaks and lunch will be
provided each day you are registered to attend the conference if
attending on Monday and Tuesday and breakfast and break is provided on
Wednesday (included in the price of the conference package). If

Travel
Information
For those
attendees flying to Austin, the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is the
best choice with less than 13 miles to the hotel. Transportation can be arranged at the airport.
Taking a taxi or shuttle service at approximately $30 for
a taxi (one way) or $13.50 for the SuperShuttle one way (reservations
are not required) could be just the ticket to get you
there.

receive a refund. Cancellations after February 8th, and no shows,
