Product Additions & Enhancements Added to iMIS 20 Q4

NiUG members always come first! While always independent, we have a direct line to the company behind the iMIS software – Advanced Solutions International (ASI). Our Product Advisory Committee (PAC) has a great working relationship with ASI and thru this relationship; our members can impact and make changes and enhancements to the iMIS product.  Below is a detailed list of all the additions and enhancements made to iMIS software due to information provided to ASI by our membership and the PAC. 

Items in Q4 2015 release included  

Allow for downloaded/electronic products
PAC Suggestions: iPart/PV feature to sell downloadable documents, Allow for immediate download of electronic items purchased via the online store, Upload and charge product

Can also sell restricted site content and allow access

Join Now extended to organizations to support trade associations

PAC Suggestions: (From Discovery 2014) Out of the box online join not for company

Customers can now use payment gateways not natively supported by iMIS to make single/recurring payments

PAC Suggestions: Provide at least one other CC Gateway besides Paypal o PAC Suggestions: Better management of security groups based on committees, WCM/RiSE Access settings by IQA, WCM access - conditional access to pages based on IQA query, Committees access for access settings

Improved duplicate management

PAC SuggestionsAll staff can manage dupes, Can schedule report of possible dupes if have process management, alert for possible duplicates show from Alert system/process management

GSTINC, VAT, GST and HST events support event registrants to register for taxable event program items with the option to make itinerary changes after checkout

Fundraising has a donor & donation importer which now can be used to import Cuase2Give file as well as others

Members have the ability to pay their recurring membership renewals using direct debits which are then processed through the Payflow Pro gateway

ACH to work within iMIS

Improved integration to social networking sites including allowing users to sign in to website using their Facebook and LinkedIn accounts and information from these can be copied into iMIS

The Contact Mini Profile, Contact Name, and Contact Account Creator content items provide users the option to Display mobile phone

PAC Suggestions: Distinct mobile field

IQA can be used to define the members of groups from the Group tab when editing or creating a new query. These groups can also be used to control access settings

The Slideshow content item enables you to play images on any content record in a visually appealing slideshow format
