Where is the 2019 NiUG Tech Summit?

What is the conference schedule?
The conference runs Monday, July 15, 2019 through Tuesday, July 16, 2019.  For more information, download the full agenda.

What is the dress code?
Attire is business casual.  Feel free to be comfortable in slacks, polo shirts, sweaters, blazers, blouses, and, most importantly, comfortable shoes.  We do recommend you dress in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary.

How can I obtain a copy of a presenter’s presentation?
Presentations are available on the conference site a few days prior to the start of the conference.

Will my photo be taken during the conference?
We take photographs during our meetings and events for use in advertising, newsletters, and other promotional materials, including NiUG websites.  By participating in this conference you grant NiUG the right to use your name and photograph for such purposes.

Are conference scholarships available?
Not typically for this conference; however, there is for the Discovery Conference.  The Phil Roberts Memorial Scholarship Program is designed to allow iMIS users – both non-members and NiUG members - to attend the Discovery Conference of their choice - either in the United States, Canada, or Asia-Pacific.  Three (3) recipients will be awarded a scholarship valued at $1,500 including full conference registration and up to $500 in travel expenses.  Learn more & download an application.

If you ever attended a NiUG conference, you already have a login and password.

How do I cancel my registration?
All cancellations require a written request and can be sent to  In order to receive a refund (minus a $50 administrative fee), all requests must be received on or before July 8, 2019.  No-shows and late cancellations forfeit the full registration fee.  Cancellation notifications via social media (e.g., posting on our Facebook page or a tweet) are not accepted.

What is included in the registration fee?

Your registration includes:
  • Opening, general and breakout sessions each day (registered to attend)
  • Complimentary Breakfast on Monday and/or Tuesday
  • Complimentary Lunch on Monday and/or Tuesday
  • Refreshment breaks (AM and PM)
  • NiUG & Sponsor Networking Reception on Monday evening - please indicate on registration if you will attend.
